The K9 Hero Portrait Project is scheduled to be closed by 12/31/2025. As of May 20th, 2024, only 8 nominated heroes are left on my schedule - and 8 commission pieces. After that time, I will NO LONGER BE PAINTING ANIMAL PORTRAITS UNLESS SPECIAL REQUEST.
If you'd like to have one, or both, of the last two remaining "animal" portraits I will be doing, (canine, equine, feline, etc.), please note the available sizes with my rate at $2.65 per sq inch:
16" x 20" = $848
20" x 20" = $1060
18" x 24" = $1145
24" x 24" (standard hero portrait size) = $1526
30" x 30" = $2385
Larger- will need to order canvas!
Smaller, I won't do - I've done it for over 20 years and there's no way to get every detail (full body) in a little canvas - at least not nicely.
Your painting is an investment that will be cherished for generations. By participating in the "Operation Painting It Forward Program", you, or the recipient of the painting are receiving a museum-quality piece of the same time and quality that is received by the handlers in the K9HPP program.
NOTE: Commission requests by an agency or individual/small group are NOT tax deductibe since you are receiving something in return to present as a gift to a handler. This is a transaction, and not a donation to the K9 Hero Portrait Project.
Gallery wrapped prints of the final portrait can be purchased, but the image itself will be slightly larger due to the wrapping that occurs in the printing process. The print will be signed by Loreen.
